What's up, Doc?

Hello!  This week Coen is already 3 weeks old.  We keep talking about how fast the time is going and worrying that before we know it, he'll be learning to drive.
Today was Coen's first Well-Baby check and he's doing great.  After measuring his head and checking his weight and length, we learned he is in the 50th percentile in everything.  Matt was just relieved that he didn't have a gigantic head!  Coen now weighs 8.82 pounds and is growing so fast.  When the nurse was measuring him, we were shocked to learn that he has grown 2 inches in the past 2 weeks.  Either we're going to have a future NBA player in the house, or the hospital didn't quite measure him correctly the day he was born.  He is now 21 inches long!

We feel so blessed that Coen is a happy and healthy baby.  He's dealing with a stuffy nose right now which has led to him snoring and has also turned him into quite a noisy little eater!  We describe it as sounding like either a squeaky swing or even a flock of geese.  The doctor says his stuffy nose is normal, and had us get some saline solution to squirt up his nose.  Then we use a little suction device.  Since he can't clear his nose/throat, we do it for him.

We're thankful God has blessed us with such a sweet (and healthy!) little boy.
